. Spitalfield announced their breakup and subsequent goodbye tour on September 10, 2007. Their last official show was December 23, 2007 at 'The Metro', in Chicago, Illinois.

Since the breakup, Mark Rose has pursued a solo singer/songwriter career, playing more of a progressive pop & blues sound. He released his first full length album, Wonderful Trouble, independently on July 5th, 2011. The album was produced by Sean O'Keefe, who worked with Spitalfield on their 2003 release, Remember Right Now

Summer of 2010, Spitalfield performed a few reunion shows. On June 2, 2010, Spitalfield played a surprise short set at Angels & Kings Chicago. The band then played two sold out concerts at The Beat Kitchen on August 27 & 28, 2010.
