The Clash of Triton, also known as Neptune's Party, is a 126th episode special from Season 6 of SpongeBob SquarePants

, King Neptune wants to celebrate his 5,000th birthday at the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob and the crew spare no expense for the gala, rolling out the red carpet to welcome the royal family. Despite their best efforts, the absence of Neptune’s son, Triton, brings down the king’s spirits and spoils the festivities for everyone, especially his wife, Queen Amphitrite. The King shows them a movie about Triton's childhood to when he got put in the cage. The first part is when he wants to play a "mortal game" he calls the "ball and stick game" (baseball). Then he makes a cure for all "mortal diseases". King Neptune says that they are gods, and how they do not get diseases. The gang then learns that Neptune banished his son to the deserted island in the sky until he is ready to follow in his father’s footsteps. Determined to make this the king’s happiest birthday ever and save the day, SpongeBob sets out to find Triton and bring him back to the party. Patrick unlocks Triton's cell, and Triton escapes the island. Unfortunately, no one anticipates Triton’s wrath, and Bikini Bottom is attacked and destroyed by Triton. Triton traps King Neptune in a cell, only for Patrick with SpongeBob to unlock the cell. King Neptune catches up with Triton; King Neptune sees that Triton has finally used his powers and is happy to have a successor. They make up, and King Neptune declares this to be what he has wanted all along, and they leave. He says that this would not have happened if it was not for SpongeBob. The citizens of Bikini Bottom hear this and form a mob and chase SpongeBob and Patrick.
