Sprocket is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe where she was primarily a pilot for the superhero team the New Warriors

Solo mother
Sprocket became pregnant with Cardinal's daughter Valerie after their one night stand in Rhodesia. Sprocket chose not to tell Clendenon that she was pregnant and chose to raise Valerie alone. Sprocket enrolled Valerie in a military academy when she was six years old and when Valerie was 18 she joined the Air Force, eventually becoming a Lieutenant until she paralyzed her commanding officer who raped her.Reunion with Cardinal
The two would later meet again when Cardinal and his team Air Force hijacked a Taylor Foundation plane. Cardinal shot Sprocket in the knee before he and his team were defeated by Night Thrasher. Cardinal and Sprocket met again when Air Force was attacked by the Soldiers of Misfortune while on a relief mission in Africa. When Night Thrasher was kicked out of the New Warriors Sprocket quit being the New Warriors pilot shortly afterwards.Death of Valerie
