No performance figures can be determined yet, because the car is still a static show car. Spyker aims for a weight of 1850 kg (4,079 lb) and an acceleration from 0–100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 5.0 seconds. Initially the SSUV was designed with a 500 bhp Audi

, but it is now expected the car will be fitted with a V8 from Cadillac which should produce around 500bhp. Because of this V8 Spyker changed the name from "D12" to "D8".
