Srikanth Sastry is a scientist with Ph.D. from Boston university, 1993. Postdoctral research at the National Institutes of Health and Princeton University. Faculty Fellow , Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, 1998. Associate Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, since 2003.
Research Interest:
Slow dynamics in super cooled liquids and glass transition; Metastable liquids; Phase transitions and kinetics of phase transformation; Statistical geometry; Anomalous thermodynamic and dynamic properties of water and other network forming liquids; Statistical mechanics of biomolecular systems.
Currently he is Professor at Theoretical Science Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Jakkur campus, Bangalore - 560064.
