Tutoring is available free of charge through the University of the Incarnate Word's Learning Assistance Center.
Students whose English proficiency is assessed above 450 on the TOEFL will be directly admitted to the regular high school academic program (RHSAP). Students with limited English proficiency often need summer school or an additional year to graduate this may require some extra time and effort on the students part.
St. Anthony strongly recommends that all students participate in at least one extracurricular club. The Brainpower Connection

St. Anthony Catholic High School is a college-preparatory high school. All students are required to complete 27 credit hours to graduate. The requirements are English, religion, mathematics, science, foreign language, physical education, social studies, fine arts and technology.Eligible juniors and seniors have an opportunity for dual enrollment at St. Anthony Catholic High School and the University of the Incarnate Word through a program called Senior Connection. English as a Second Language (ESL)
For students whose native language is not English, they will be required to take the TOEFL and be assessed on their proficiency in English. If they score below a 450 on the TOEFL, they will automatically be enrolled in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program under the direction of the ELS Center. Dependent on the level of their language skills, the student will be placed in a beginning, intermediate or advanced ESL class. Athletics and extracurricular activities
