St Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic High School or Guzzies as it is commonly known, is a voluntary-aided Catholic comprehensive school in the town of St Helens, Lancashire. The school has approx. 725 students whose ages range from 11 to 16. The school has been awarded Specialist Arts College

There are currently a wide ranch of subjects to choose from once a pupil reaches year 10, these include History, Modern Languages, Art, Drama, Geography, Health and Social care and Leisure and Tourism. Students will choose 3 subjects to follow their core courses (English, Maths, Science, ICT, RE, PSHE and Citizenship).
The school uses a housing system, akin to most other schools in the UK. Each house is named after a Catholic charity: Nugent (Blue), L'Arche (Yellow), SVP (Green) and CAFOD (Red).
On the last day before half term, St Augustine's received a framed certificate from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust to acknowledge their achievement in consistently improving 5+A*-C results from 2006-2009.
A brand new toilet block has been recently constructed.
A recent Art gallery is available allowing students the option post their work on a professional art board for visitors to see.
