The first film Danailov has taken part was "The Traces Remain" ("Следите остават") being a child. At that time he did not want to be an actor. However, later in 1966 he graduated VITIZ (Bulgarian Theatre Academy). The biggest fame he gained starring major Deyanov in the popular series "На всеки километър" (At Each Kilometer). He has participated in numerous films and plays for which he won a lot of prizes. For several years he has been a professor at the Theatre Academy in Sofia.
