Stelio Savante is a South African actor, producer, and writer living in the United States. He is a native English speaker (Anglo South African) and fluent in Afrikaans and Greek. In 2007 he became the first male South African born SAG award nominee. For his recurring role on Ugly Betty. In the Best Ensemble performance category.
High School in 1988. In late 1989 he relocated from South Africa
to the United States when he was offered an international tennis scholarship by the University of West Alabama

Savante's screenplay Trust in Her co written with Nick Efteriades is being produced by Tracey Edmonds
