The magazine has been mentioned numerous times on The Howard Stern Show, as Hayden was a frequent guest on the terrestrial version of Stern's K-Rock program.
The magazine maintains an online presence at so-mag.com, where web surfers can download the entire contents of the current issue in pdf format, as well as order back issues dating from as far back as the December 8, 1999 issue.

. Hayden has also appeared on The Howard Stern Show from 1989 thru 2004. However in January 2005 Hayden and Stern had a very public falling out that has yet to be resolved. Hayden is also a Getty Image photographer and has had his celebrity portraits published around the world. Chaunce finished in last place during the 'Get John's Job' contest on the Howard Stern show in 2004.
