Steven Michael Robert "Steve" Howey (born July 12, 1977) is an American film and television actor, best known for his role as Van Montgomery in the television series Reba

Early life
Howey was born in San Antonio, Texas, to director Bill Howey and Carla. He has two older siblings: Bret and Tammy. Although they moved a lot during his childhood, Howey's parents settled in Los Angeles, where he attended junior high and most of high school.
