In 2007 the Queensland Government funded a $22 million development on Quad Park and completed renamed it Stockland Park when the renovation was completed in 2009.
The stadium is designed so it can be configured from an Australian rules football ground to a rectangular soccer or rugby league

ground. Spectators sit no more than 10 metres from the sidelines. A main grandstand
seating 3,700 spectators under cover is situated on the wing while temporary seating can be placed around the field for rectangular events pushing the seating capacity to 12,000.
The venue has hosted four national events including a pre-season A-League
fixture between the Queensland Roar and Wellington Phoenix as well as it's attendance breaking pre-season NRL match between Manly Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm
, which attracted 8,119 spectators.

Development
The stadium is complete with a Sunshine Coast fitness sport and recreation TAFE training centre and state-of-the-art gymnasium.
