There were 51 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples
living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.4% were non-families. 23.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.23.
In the city the population was spread out with 34.6% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 14.0% from 45 to 64, and 16.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 111.9 males.

In April 2011 Strasburg voters approved a 1% sales tax increase by a vote of 22-17. The tax is to be used for street and sidewalk maintenance.

Politics/Elections
In September 2008 after conflict between Mayor McClure and the City Council, the Mayor resigned and was replaced by Councilor Patricia Shadoin-Ford who served as Acting Mayor. Mayor Shadoin-Ford was subsequently reelected.In April 2011 Strasburg voters approved a 1% sales tax increase by a vote of 22-17. The tax is to be used for street and sidewalk maintenance.
