" Aloes has amassed a fan base of at least three generations of Trinidadians and calypso lovers region-wide. Sugar Aloes' is also famous for his songs "I love being me" and "Signs of the End of Time." On Sunday February 3, 2008 Michael Anthony Osuana, aka Sugar Aloes, was crowned the winner of the Calypso Monarch 2008 Competition at Queens Park Oval in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. He won this competition singing a song entitled"Look in the Mirrow".In this song he made some sarcastic remarks about government which I believe maintained a certain degree of humour.<
