SuperStock is a stock image provider with over a thousand photographers, artists, archives, museums and special collections from around the world. SuperStock has images and illustrations that are licensed on a royalty-free, rights-managed, and subscription basis and are typically used in advertisements, annual reports, books, brochures, CD covers, greeting cards, posters, magazines, web sites and as wall art. SuperStock offers over 4.3 million images broken down into four distinct collections: Contemporary, Vintage, Fine Art, and Travel.
SuperStock was established in New York City
in 1973 and was originally known as FourbyFive. It later relocated its headquarters to Jacksonville, Florida
, where it built a state-of-the-art digital facility. In March 2004, SuperStock was acquired by a21, Inc.
