Superheroes was to be the debut studio album released by English
singer and actress Dani Harmer
. The album was scheduled for release in September 2009 but never was and is rumoured to have been cancelled due to poor sales of the lead single "Free" - this has not been officially confirmed by either Harmer or her record label.

, in which Harmer plays the lead role. Despite excessive promotion, the song failed to chart. One month later, 30 second-long clips of the first eleven tracks of the album were released on Harmer's official YouTube account, the clip from the track "X-Boyfriend" was later used in the ninth episode of the second series of the children's sitcom show Dani's House
