She is the president of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes and funds breast cancer
intraductal research, and has a close involvement with the "Love/Avon Army of Women", an organization that connects breast cancer researchers with women interested in participating in breast cancer research studies. She is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine
