A recipe for Sushki

2 cups of flour
1 egg
1/2 cup of water
salt to taste
sugar

Combine the flour, the egg, the water and the salt into a firm dough, and lay to rest under a napkin for about 30 minutes. Cut the dough into the small pieces, roll them out into strings of thickness of 0.5-0.7 cm. Then cut them into small rods, and make rings by putting the ends together. Cook the sushki in boiling sweetened water (1 l of water - 1.5-2 tbsp. of sugar) during 1-2 minutes. Remove the sushki from the water and bake them in a pre-heated oven until golden brown.
