Sutton Park School was founded in 1957 as one of the first multi-denominational schools in Ireland. The original school building is a Georgian House whose previous owners sold on.Today
Sutton Park is an international day and boarding school, with students from ages 4 to 19 attending from 22 countries. Boarding facilities can take 16 to 18 students, in 2-3 person en-suite bedrooms.The school is fully accredited by the European Council of International Schools

The school is set in a mature residential area, with the main entrance lying several hundred metres from the coast .
