 commander Theodoulos Synadenos and his wife, the sister of the Byzantine emperor Nikephoros III Botaneiates. Ca. 1065 she married Géza as his second wife. The couple had three children: Prince Álmos

 and two daughters. Géza died in 1077 and Synadene survived him, although nothing is known of her life thereafter.
