 (IR) research areas in content based retrieval of video. It is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Intelligence Advanced Projects Activity (IARPA) of the United States Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The goal of the workshop is to encourage research in information retrieval by providing a large test collection, uniform scoring procedures, and a forum for organizations interested in comparing their results.
