. The major routes that are in Tafton are PA 507 and PA 390. Tafton also borders Lake Wallenpaupack to the west. Blooming Grove borders the eastern part of Tafton. There is a lake that hugs PA 390 for a mile or so called Fairview Lake. Tanglewood Ski Area and Winter Park is also there, but it is closed down permanently to open a winery and Italian restaurant.
