Taganrog City Architectural Development Museum

Museum's building represents one of the city's architectural pearls. The modern-style mansion was built by the project of the architect Fyodor Schechtel
in 1912 and belonged to merchant Sharonov. The majolica panel decorating the frieze of the building was produced by Abramtsevo workshop based on the sketches by such renowned artists as Nicholas Roerich

and the life of its inhabitants from the city's foundation until nowadays. In addition to old postcards, photographs and maps, it showcases unique samples of furniture and arts and crafts.
The exhibition halls present collections from the Taganrog Museum Reserve, famous peoples' wax figures, private art collections, photo exhibitions, artworks of local painters etc.
