The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is a non-profit government co-sponsored trade promotion organization in the Republic of China
founded in 1970. TAITRA assists Taiwan businesses and manufacturers to reinforce their international competitiveness and to cope with the challenges they face in foreign markets.
Over the past decades, TAITRA has developed trade promotion, and it has an information network consisting about 850 trained specialists stationed in its headquarters in Taipei, four local branch offices in Hsinchu
