 Tamro only performs wholesale.

Tamro's Finnish roots extend back to 1895, when four pharmacists founded a wholesale company called Tampereen Rohdoskauppayhtiö. The history of Tamro's business unit in Denmark, Nomeco A/S, starts in 1801. In 1941, under Tor Borg, son of one of the four founders Fredrik Borg, the company was renamed Tampereen Rohduskauppa Oy and expanded into national wholesale businesses. It was listed on the Helsinki Stock exchange in 1955.
