Early life

Tamta was born and raised in Georgia, where she started singing at the age of five. For six years she was the lead singer in kids’ bands, while taking piano lessons for seven years and studying Georgian ballet for another four.

She has been awarded in a series of children’s singing festivals in Georgia, while performing in the leading roles as an actress in music theaters between the age of twelve and fourteen.

Musical career

When Tamta was 22, she and her family relocated to Greece, where she decided to enter the singing competition Super Idol
