Thanjavur Air Force Station is a military airport located in Thanjavur (also known as Tanjore), a Municipal Corporation in the state of Tamil Nadu

. This new Air Force Station is being built on land was acquired by the Indian Air Force in 2006. The site already contained runways, having previously served as an airport. Thanjavur Air Force Station is expected to function as a major Air Force base by 2012.
