The commune contains four settlements:

• Bougoumeira
• Dendéguère
• Fatakara
• Hangabéra (the administrative center of the commune)

Fatakara and Dendéguère are on the west side of Lake Télé. Hangabéra and Bougoumeira are to the east of the lake.
