The Ebor Singers

The Ebor Singers was formed in 1995 by music students at the University of York
.
The group is directed by Dr Paul Gameson.
The choir sings its regular concert series in York Minster
and, since 1997, has frequently performed in the York Early Music Festival
and toured in Britain and Europe.
The group has recently broadcast on BBC Radio 4
and have appeared on BBC One
, BBC Four
and Channel 4
.
They performed alongside The Hilliard Ensemble and Red Byrd in the NMC recording of Roger Marsh’s Pierrot Lunaire
.
In 2007 Kerry Andrew
's Dusk Songs was commissioned and recorded by The Ebor Singers, and released by Boreas Music in 2007.
