Panzer Dragoon

series. It has several main antagonists including the Drone, Abadd who sometimes turns on them. It uses technology from the Ancient Age to conquer its enemies such as floating warships and biological weapons. It is one of the main enemies of the game and their mission is to control the planet. The Empire was first made somewhere after the Ancient Age that soon started a war ravaging the planet. The Empire was first destroyed an explosive charge set by a traitor named Craymen and. However, a New Imperial Order was made creating a second Empire. Clues on what happened to the new Empire after the events in Panzer Dragoon Orta is unknown.

History

In Panzer Dragoon Orta, a New Imperial Order was made creating a new Empire. The new empire found Dragonmares and an ancient arfifact that can create and activate them called the Cradle. Abadd, who controls the Cradle, is begged by the Empire to make more. He promises more if they capture Orta and bring her to him. Several attempts were made to capture Orta, but all efforts had failed. Little is known what happened after the end of Panzer Dragoon seires. It is likely that it was destroyed completely or continnued to exist as a harmless nation.

Culture

The Empire's culture is mostly Chinese/Japanese, but mostly relates to the military. Young boys go into military training at a young age. Enemy POWs are forced to work for the Empire in battle.

Military Equipment

The empire uses modern and high-tech equipment created by the Ancients. The Empire usually use air weapons for its military.

Bhouts

Bhouts are airships which have a role as fighter-bombers. They are the most common airships and replaced the Raider and Stinger from the first Empire. There are two kinds of Bhouts: the basic Battleship Bhout and the slightly improved Carrier Bhout. Its armament is 3 machine guns and a missile launcher.

Vermanas

Vermanas or Assault Carrier Vermanas are large flying warships used by the Empire. They are capable of carrying 4 to 8 dragonmares and several squadrons of Bhouts in its hangars. On the top is a control tower for officers and 6 Dahra hovertanks. It has 6 fuel tanks, 8 missile lauchers on the front, 6 remote mine launchers, and 15 machine guns. A Vermana was sent to capture Orta releasing its dragonmares. It was destroyed by the Dragon and the dragonmares retreated. Another Vermana was deployed to attack the Dragon and Orta inside an Imperial research facility. The Vermana was destroyed and research facility started to collapse.

Taishaks

Taishaks are flying cruisers or assault hoverships used by the Empire. It is the basic warship not counting the smaller airships and are the smallest of the Imperial fleet. It can not carry Dragonmares, but can carry a squadron of 6 airships. Its armament is 7 missile turret

s and 10 machine guns. They are found in many cutscenes in Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Dahras

Dahras are floating tanks or hovertanks. They are armed with a shotgun and a missile launcher and serve as the Empire's ground vehicles. There are some Dahras equipped with copper-plating that give the tanks extra armor, but are used to show off.

Dragonmares

Dragonmares are cyborg-like dragons used by the Empire. They can use their tails as a whip, ram into enemies, and shoot temporary walls behind them. They fire explosive mucus, fireballs, and plasma boomerangs from their mouths, and can self-destruct with a large blast radius. They can be made artificially, but only be activated by the Cradle. The Dragonmare's armor is very strong only the Dragon can destroy them. Hundreds of them were made but many were destroyed before being activated. The remaining dragonmares were devoured by the Cradle and their powers were collected by Abadd to help defeat Orta.

Imperial Battleship

The Imperial Battleship is the largest flying warship in the Imperial Fleet. It has thousands of machine guns and missile launchers. It carries millions of airships, Dharas, and dragonmares in its hangars. On the top is a guardian statue that shoots a laser, meteors, and missiles.

Karthas

Karthas are Imperial airships that serve as interceptors. They are armed with a plasma cannon and have long flags behind them. Karthas, like Bhouts, are in great numbers and have two verizons. The two verzion are the basic airship Kartha and the more durable Kartha prototype. Unlike Bhouts, Karthas are launched differently. A long board brings out up to 10 Karthas and they fly off like bats.
