- In 1998, it was released as The Essential Lynyrd Skynyrd by MCA. This album was certified Gold on 10/15/1999 and Platinum on 7/27/2001 by the R.I.A.A.
- In 2006, it was re-released as Gold by Geffen (which had absorbed MCA), with identical content and a slightly different cover.
