The Girl Guides Association of Jamaica (GGAJ) is the Guiding
organization of Jamaica
. It served 5,903 members (as of 2006). Founded in 1915, the girls-only organization became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
in 1963 and a full member in 1966.
until July 17, 1967, when the Girl Guides Association of Jamaica was incorporated.
A scission of the association led to the formation of the Girl Scouts of Jamaica
in 2008.
