Synopsis

This is the story takes place in 1940s, where the Reverend Holvak (Glenn Ford), a humble preacher from a small town. He lives with his wife Elizabeth Holvak (Julie Harris) and a daily struggle against injustice, where they live with violence and a corrupt sheriff ...
