Established in August 2009, The HUB Newspaper, is a free, full colour, local newspaper covering key community stories from towns across North and South Lanarkshire.

The HUB only carries positive, good news stories from in and around Lanarkshire - making The HUB Lanarkshire's best and favourite publication.

Currently door dropped through letterboxes in Uddingston, Bothwell, Blantyre, Bellshill, Motherwell, Tannochside and Viewpark as well as being available for pickup in locations such as local supermarkets, libraries, cafe's, etc. The HUB has a circulation of 23,000 copies giving estimated readership figures of over 73,000 readers. It is expected that by the end of 2011 that HUB circulation will be well in excess of 30,000, confirming The HUB's place as Lanarkshire's largest publication.

The HUB Group also incorporates the following titles, The Wishaw HUB, Perthshire HUB and The Monklands HUB. The Wishaw HUB has a circa of 9,000 copies with The Monklands HUB and Perthshire HUB at 10,000. Many more titles will follow throughout 2011/12 as the HUB continues to grow making it one of the leading publications across Scotland and the UK.

Next target area's include: The Falkirk HUB, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth HUB, Stirling County HUB and Dundee HUB.

The HUB was launched by successful entrepreneurs Scott Mochar and Vicki O'Hare as they looked for a new lifestyle business that they could grow and develop after the sale of other businesses. Scott and Vicki believed that they could offer something different to the residents of Lanarkshire and give them an alternative to the already established publications.

The pair are looking to grow the HUB across the whole of the UK through rapid expansion and acquisitions of other publications.
