The Michael Ball Show was a British
topical entertainment show broadcast on ITV
and ITV1 HD/STV HD in 2010. It featured entertainment, discussion and showbiz glamour with the occasional musical performance from Michael himself, often on the Friday edition of the show. It occupied the slot filled by The Alan Titchmarsh Show
during its summer break in 2010 and has been recommissioned for a further series but not date as of when it will air first reported on digitalspy via news from ITV.
Part two of the show features a interview with a guest, who is unknown and not a celebrity and has a story which they tell to michael before Michael and the chef of the day cook a dish a favourite of the guest and they serve it to the guest.
Part three of the show starts off with a brief chat with the musical guest and then the musical guest performs. Part three also features a Chat with a special Guest.
Part four of the show is the final part of the show and starts off the viewer competition Cash for Questions in which Michael himself takes part in answering questions given by a quizmaster, who is different each day, each question is worth £100 and the amount in the fund after one minute is the prize for the viewer competition. To finish off the show, Michael is joined by his final special guest of the day.
There is often a musical theatre theme to The Michael Ball Show, with guests such as Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Kerry Ellis

The quizmaster, has been the same person on each day, the quizmasters have remained the same throughout the series. The quizmasters are;

Format
Part one of the show features Michael and four of the days guest discuss a topic of the day. The Guests are usually the two main guest of the day along with the Cash for Questions quizmaster and either the Musical guest or the chef for the day.Part two of the show features a interview with a guest, who is unknown and not a celebrity and has a story which they tell to michael before Michael and the chef of the day cook a dish a favourite of the guest and they serve it to the guest.
