. It is located along Ash Creek and surrounded by public land and an operating cattle ranch. Its symbol is the "Quarter Circle V Bar", a name once used for the school and cattle ranch. In 1929, it began as a one-room school with seven students from the area's ranches; today, it enrolls some 187 students from 25 U.S. states and 16 countries. The international students comprise more than 40% of the school's enrollment Many of the international parents send their students here to master the English language and possibly go to an American college.
