The tour was considered a success and the band managed to sell out shows at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA or the Showcaste Theatre in Corona, CA and draw many fans to other shows in California, Arizona and Nevada. Upon their return to Germany, The Other set out on a tour with The Damned and also supported The Cult

The Other's third album "The Place To Bleed" was released in May 2008 and was met with a lot of press-attention. Because of its success The Other was selected as one of the headliners of the "Wave-Gotik-Treffen" in Germany and also played the "M'era Luna

The first lineup change took place in December 2006, when bassist and founding member Andy Only left the band. The former roadie Migore Drake became the new bassist. Migore Drake was let go in December 2010 and replaced by new bassist Viktor Sharp.
