The Pageant, sometimes called The Pageant Concert NightClub, is a music venue
in the Delmar Loop
district, located on the western edge of Saint Louis, Missouri, just east of the University City
half of the loop area.
The Pageant is St. Louis' premier midsize venue, with ample space for the audience and stage room and lighting options for performers. The venue hosts touring national acts from pop to indie rock, hip-hop to jazz and blues.
The venue has a main concert hall; the Halo Bar, a wet bar and smaller stage for smaller performances; and Suite 100, a retail shop that sells concert merchandise.
The Pageant is one of the area's few handicapped-accessible venues.
The Pageant is one of the top concert venues in the world. It ranked fourth in the Top 100 Worldwide Club Venues list in 2008.
The venue is named for a long-demolished movie theatre on Delmar Boulevard that used to be three blocks to the east.
