Originally many of the retailers including Dillard's were supposed to open second locations, but due to the economic downturn, many of the retailers have their only locations in the market here now, and The Shoppes at River Crossing has become Macon's premier shopping destination. Phase I opened March 19, 2008, while phase II opened shortly after. Belk
