The Tidy Ups are a Swedish twee
pop/rock band. They were originally from Skellefteå
, but most of the members now live in Stockholm
. The band's members are Jenny Westerlund, Maria Stäck, Matilda Norberg, Olov Antonsson and Emma Andersson.
The band was started in 2002 by multi-instrumentalist Jenny Westerlund who is better known as part of the band Funday Mornings. They released their debut EP
on Fabulous Friends Records in 2003; a label that had previously released Funday Mornings material. The EP, entitled "I've Been Waiting For A Million Years For The Bus To Get Me Out Of Here", contained 6 tracks and quickly sold out its limited run of 300 copies.
On April 25, 2006, the Tidy Ups released a follow up EP called Dizzy Heights on Music is My Girlfriend records, another small independent Swedish label.
The band still does not have a website.
