The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love Loss & Desperation (2003–2008)

The three band members met in 2003 at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, soon becoming friends and starting to jam together. In 2006, the band released their debut single Girls, Boys, and Marsupials which was only available as a release in Japan.

In January 2007, the band released a second limited edition vinyl called Moving to New York
