History
Thee Experience was Located in Hollywood,California on Sunset Blvd. from the grand opening on March 14 through December 1969. It has been erroneously listed as located at 7751 Sunset Blvd. however the address is clearly visible on advertisements as 7551 Sunset Blvd. Thee Experience was the brainstorm of owner and founder Marshall Brevetz, who initially opened a night club of the same name in 1967 in Tampa Florida and later opting for a larger location, moved the club in 1968. Marshall had located a disused bowling alley and converted it to a psychedelic ballroom changing the name of the club to "Thee Image" and by early 1969 was persuaded by the likes of Frank ZappaFrank Zappa
