.
Until 2008, Roosevelt worked at the investment bank Lehman Brothers
; he is currently a Senior Vice President in fixed income at its successor, Barclays Capital
. Roosevelt is a board member of the New York League of Conservation Voters and ecoAmerica. He was an early supporter of President Barack Obama and served on the presidential campaign's Energy and Environment committee. Roosevelt married Serena Clare Torrey on September 12, 2008, just two days before Lehman declared bankruptcy. He graduated from Princeton University
with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
