begins behaving like a spoiled child following Hayley's absence, Stan decides the following year to visit Rusty for Thanksgiving to force Steve to appreciate all that their family has compared to Rusty's. However, upon visiting, they discover that Rusty is actually incredibly wealthy and has been bringing his family to the Smiths' home for the exact same reason.

After a visit around Rusty's house, Stan realizes that the land was inherited from their grandfather, who gave Rusty and Stan a choice between $20,000 or the land. Stan tricked Rusty to gain the money (only to lose it on a bus ride before he could spend it) while Rusty gained the land, which he managed to get rich off of by mining

Stan, as well as the rest of the family, become envious of Rusty's wealth and try to take the land by force by kidnapping Rusty and his family and placing them in Stan's home while Stan and his family take Rusty's. Rusty, however, quickly reclaims his home and ships Stan and his family off in a helicopter, threatening to kill them if they ever come back.

As the helicopter flies away, Stan throws a fit, inadvertently causing a crash in the desert. Everyone survives, including the pilot sans his lower body, who crawls off to get help. Stan and the others become lost in the desert, only to be coincidentally rescued by Hayley.

Rusty appears, wanting to kill Stan (they are still on his land). The pilot surprises Rusty, who kills him. In the confusion, the Smiths escape. Once safely back at their home, Stan welcomes Jeff into the family, pleased by Jeff's own impoverished perspective that the Smiths live in luxury. The episode ends with Jeff's van being crushed by a cow who jumped over the moon.

rated this episode a Grade B+, saying: "This week's American Dad sticks an utterly pointless pun in the title and has a premise with vague similarities to the film, as Stan's half-brother Rusty shows up. Stan finds out that Rusty has more money than he knew, so he tries to take it away from his brother. But that's really about it for similarities. I just saw the episode title and wanted to show you that video. Still, the best joke is saved for the end when, wandering through the desert, a pack of wolves find the family. Roger, however, recognizes one of the wolves as one he rescued in the past, leading to an extended flashback parody of the Christian the Lion viral video. This episode of American Dad didn't offer much but sustained funny, but sustaining a good level of funny for a half-hour is the main thing I want from it.
