Thérèse Brisson is a women's ice hockey
player. Brisson played for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team from 1993 to 2005. Brisson was the second oldest member of Team Canada’s gold medal winning team at the 2002 Winter Olympics
in Salt Lake City. She competed for Canada at the World Championships in 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001. She earned a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics

At the 2002 Winter Olympics, Brisson led all Canadian defenders in scoring at the tournament. Brisson had two goals and three assists in helping Canada win its first gold medal in Women’s Olympic hockey.
