 season, and the team at the top of the standings at the end of the season wins the Thruway Cup trophy. Whenever one team wins the series three times, that team gets to keep the Cup, and a new trophy is used until the next team wins three series, and so forth. Through the first thirteen series, Buffalo has won six times, Rochester has won five times, and Syracuse has won twice.
