. It is about 12 km from City center in Northern Direction. It has the Regional Transport Office of Coimbatore North. Thudiyalur is located on the streach of Mettupalayam road, one of the arterial roads of Coimbatore.

There existed a Railway Station in Thudiyalur which was closed by Railway Authorities few years back even though people protested against this.Now there are local train running daily four times between Coimbatore To Mettupalayam But it does not stop at Thudiyalur because there is no infrastructure to cater to the needs of Passengers.
