took over the operation of services 36, 39, 51, 52 and 70.
In August 2009 Centrebus purchased a 20% share of Thurmaston bus and Mark O'Mahony (a former centrebus director) joined the company and during 2010 he purchased a 30% share from Leif Watson and Centrebuses

The company began operating commercial services in March 2009 with just four buses for services 51 and 123, in September 2009 they began operating service 52 to Hamilton and during 2010 all operations moved to a new depot in Thurmaston.

History
The company was formed in 2000 as Powell & Watson and in 2003 they changed their name to Thurmaston Bus. Coachmaster operated as the private hire department but when the bus operations entered into liquidation during August 2011.In August 2009 Centrebus purchased a 20% share of Thurmaston bus and Mark O'Mahony (a former centrebus director) joined the company and during 2010 he purchased a 30% share from Leif Watson and Centrebuses
