Jackson graduated in 2007 from the University of Texas, where she majored in ethnic studies and excelled in basketball. ESPN.com named Jackson national freshman of the year in 2003-4. She led the UT Longhorns in scoring in her junior and senior years, and was named an All-American in 2007.

Professional

Jackson was drafted by the Liberty in 2007. She played in all 34 regular season games and all 3 playoff games in the 2007 season as a reserve forward, averaging fourteen minutes played and 3.1 rebounds.
