was demolished in 1973, one of the roads built on the site was named after Stevenson. During the sixties Tiger managed the Red Star Tyre Service in Katherine Road East Ham. He was kind enough to visit our motorcycle club (Barking and East Ham District) as a speaker when he provided us with a very entertaining evening with his memories of early speedway days, he was a gifted speaker and a very likeable man
